Women In Focus, Inc. Scholarship Program

Each year, Women In Focus, Inc. awards scholarships to deserving college-bound male and female students of color who have been selected by the WIF Scholarship Review Committee. Proceeds from the organization’s annual “I Have a Dream” Scholarship Banquet and Ball, as well as contributions from supporters are used in funding the awards.

Women In Focus, Inc. offers different types of scholarships:

  • The majority of our scholarships are awarded to graduating high school students seeking to continue their education post high school through an undergraduate degree or other post high school degree or certification.
  • Several additional scholarships are awarded to adult students who are continuing their education through an undergraduate degree or other post high school degree or certification.

Application forms, scholarship descriptions, and criteria for selection are available on this website by November of each year and are also distributed by the offices of area high school counselors or Minority Service Coordinators.

Women in Focus, Inc. Scholarship Award Reception

Each spring, WIF honors the student awardees and their families at a reception. This is wonderful opportunity for WIF members and representatives of our sponsors to meet and congratulate the awardees in person. We are proud to encourage these students to succeed in education.
